Gospodarstwo Rybackie „Gosławice” sp. z o.o. with the seat in Konin was founded in the 60s of the XXth century. It is situated in the center of Poland, 100 km east of Poznań and 200 km west of Warsaw. Its registered office is located at the northern end of Konin, on the route to Bydgoszcz. On each side it is surrounded by the waters of lakes, power plant’s discharge canals and ponds. It was built in stages, in order to use water with high thermal properties for breeding, rearing and fish farming of thermophilic fish.
Over the years, it has changed and developed, introducing innovative technologies and new species. Currently, „Gosławice” Fish Farm is one of the largest farms in Poland, and certainly the largest producer of sturgeon and European catfish. In addition to fish the Farm has interesting fishing grounds for fishing on lakes, canals and a special pond for carp anglers. The newest product offered by the Farm is black caviar made using Siberian sturgeon eggs, and soon also using Russian sturgeon eggs.
